Japanese technology giant, Pioneer, brings up important new features in its DJ software release.

The latest version of rekordbox DJ software (4.1) was released to the public exactly one week ago and brought significant innovations in the existing program. The biggest feature of the DVS is support for rekordbox, which we have heard about even at a time when rekordbox was officially presented.

However, price list for DVS pack is a bit strange. The package is included in the rekordbox if you have a monthly subscription of 9.90 dollars a month, but if you already own a fully purchased rekordbox, then your DVS package one-time cost $ 99.

Pioneer’s DVR support includes two separate modes. The first is Absoloute Mode. It replicates the classic experience of scratching with traditional turntables. Relative Mode uses a slightly more modern and digitized access to controls such as Hot Cues and Sync and simple scratching when the needle is on the Control Vinyl. Also, with Relative Mode, MIDI Learn option is available too. It allows you to program your own hardware for the certain actions.

DDJ-RZ is the first model in the series of Pioneer’s controllers, in which along with the latest version of rekordbox DJ software, you get the full package of DVS. If you have already made a purchase of that model, and you want to use DVS support, you can request a code via this link.
